Aila's Photography Attempts

Hello all!
I am an amateur "photographer", and now brave a thread here to look for help and tips on my works, and maybe learn more of the technical side of photography.. right now I just point and click, relying what looks good in my eye. :P

I have a normal digital camera, Canon Powershot A610. I often run the photos through GIMP to edit contrast or levels etc.

So, here goes, crits and thoughts welcome

The one with the house looks like a pretty interesting place. If you can go back I would suggest playing around more with different angles to see if you can improve the composition.

Whoa, over a year since I posted. Back though, still been doing some photography, still the same camera as when I started out :P

To start off, a couple of snowy ones from yesterday. Which one of the icicles looks better? I think the one without the rooftops..
