I agree with you the last 2 are the best, love the sun beams shining through the clouds

what time of day did you take these, I see the sky is really blue in the last one

I left at 4am to get the sunrise, but it was kinda cloudy so it wasn't all that spectacular until the sun had risen and was coming through the clouds, so these ones were taken sometime between 5:45 and 6:30am I think.

Lovely eye candy. Love #1 & 4

Watch out for your overexposure/flaring around the sun. I think #4 could use some cropping at the bottom; a bit too much foreground.

Took a trip to Nelson's Bay last November, stayed up all night one night and ended up walking up a mountain at 4am to get the sunrise! Here are the results... All shots were taken with either an EFS 18-55mm or an EF 75-300mm

Nelson Bay #1

Camera: Canon 400D
Shutter Speed: 1/400
Aperture: f/9.0
ISO: 100

Nelson Bay #2

Camera: Canon 400D
Shutter Speed: 1/500
Aperture: f/16
ISO: 100

Nelson Bay #3

Thought I might try something a little different with this one... I like it but I don't know why!
Camera: Canon 400D
Shutter Speed: 1/100
Aperture: f/5.6
ISO: 100

Nelson Bay #4

Camera: Canon 400D
Shutter Speed: 1/60
Aperture: f/5.6
ISO: 100

Nelson Bay #5

Camera: Canon 400D
Shutter Speed: 1/80
Aperture: f.56
ISO: 100

Nice ones, I particularly like #1. If you ever go back, I think you should definitely try some panoramas. These compositions are good, but I think they would look great as panoramas.
