Red_Shift's Scrapbook

Hi there!

I'm currently using a Kodak Z710 P&S (what I would call advanced P&S) It has some freedom in manual mode such as up to 8 second exposure time, a limited range of apertures and 64 - 800 ISO settings.

It has certainly been the best P&S camera I have ever had and has taught me some basics of photography and I am now in the market for a DSLR. As soon as i get one i'll let you guys know and upload some pics, but for now heres a sample of what my kodak can acheive:

Hopefully you will like them as much as i do!

And hopefully once i get my hands on a DSLR a whole new world of photography will be open for me to capture!

Hi Disruption thanks for your comments, I'm glad you like the lightning pic too!

I managed to get another shot with the lighting but i wasn't so pleased with it, too much ambient light for the length of the exposure perhaps....

and I'm gonna add a small preying mantis pic for the hell of it

Sadly it's not as crisp or detailed as i would have liked, but after all this is a standard P&S lens not a macro

Can't wait to work with proper macro photography with a DSLR though!
