Kindless portraits..

Hi!

Quite obviously inspired by Sincity

This was just an experiment for class, but I've always liked how it turned out

This was a class assignment, and the only reason I'm putting it here is because of the faces on the mannequins, technically portraits

And this is what happened during the photoshoot for the previous set

This happened while a group of us were just hanging out, and while it's not very great, I liked how it turned out

I think this is kinda obvious, and I've been trying to continue this set, but the weather, or something else is always against me. This set would continue outside in the city, if that helps realize the idea.

My cousin makes a great model

Always the great facial expressions from him. I'm not sure what I was thinking with the border.

Ryoko from the band Echostream, live during Katsucon 2008.

Kindless landscapes/architecture here.
Kindless still life/stuff.

Some more portraits? Or close enough to being portraits? I think?

Assignment for class that won me quite a bit attention. It was sent to a competition won runner up prize, but I don't remember the contest. :/

in 2004-2005 I did a lot of these cloning pieces for an AP portfolio. This is one of the better ones, I think.

Yet another assignment, and a pretty fun one I think.

Had to make a Rockwell type of portrait, and this was my take on it.

Another assignment with the idea "impossible."

I was hired to photograph a wedding, and this is best shot that came out of it. Sadly too because that piece of paper is blocking the bride's face. I wasn't using a professional camera either so the entire experience is rather bittersweet.

This is, believe it or not, a straight shot. I used a strobe light to make this.

Part of a shoot I did to make a reference for a drawing, and some of the shots turned out nice enough by themselves.

Hahahahaha. the photos of the poseable figure are really funneh, and very creative. wish i thought of it. my favorite picture tho i think is the one of your cousin, its cute. i probably might crop off the half-face n the far side tho. leave the little guy in the background in there tho of course. I like the background action.

Great photo of you on the bed in the room that looks like you're in a drawing. Great creativity.

i like the bed shot as well (and i like that the posters on the wall expose you true nerd) but i think my favorite is the last shot in the snow. i'd like to see you boost the colour a little (but be careful with the flower) and add a slightly bigger vignette.
good work though, well done
